Ed Ionata Senior Vice President Public/Private Sector Leader |
Mr. Ionata, a Senior Vice President, oversees all of Tetra Tech Rizzo’s services for public and private sector clients. Mr. Ionata specializes in the management of multi-disciplinary projects from inception through design, permitting, and construction. He is well versed in fast-track and design-build delivery methods and has managed environmental reviews, permitting, and compliance for two of the largest public infrastructure projects in the United States – the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority’s (MWRA) Deer Island Treatment Plant and the Central Artery/Tunnel Project. His services for the MWRA have included environmental consulting as well the overall development of a permitting strategy for the organization. He has also served as the Permitting Manager for the Central Artery/Tunnel Project.
In addition to overseeing the public/private sector services at Tetra Tech Rizzo, Mr. Ionata directly manages multi-disciplinary public and public-private partnership projects. He has a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Rhode Island and a M.S. in Forest Science from Yale University. Mr. Ionata is the author of numerous professional articles.
