Rick Moore, P.E. Chairman |
Rick Moore became Chairman and Managing Director for International Projects in 2007. Mr. Moore leads our international operations with a focus on India and the Middle East. He was formerly President of Tetra Tech Rizzo. He is a nationally recognized expert in water quality protection and stormwater management. With 30 years experience, he has amassed a resume of high-profile, innovative, and successful projects in the United States and abroad. His experience covers a broad range of activities including utility and site engineering, environmental compliance and environmental impact reports, as well as watershed management and water resource work. His area of technical specialty is stormwater management and weather issues.
Mr. Moore is the Principal-In-Charge of the civil engineering and environmental permitting for Westwood Station, a $1.2 billion mixed used, transit-oriented development in Westwood, MA. The project, adjacent to the Westwood Station MBTA Amtrak train station, will consist of 4.8 million square feet of retail, residential, and office uses.
As a member of the Board of Directors of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC)/MA, Mr. Moore has taken a leadership role over the last year in gaining ACEC’s support for programs related to high school teacher and student internships. He is also on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation and is a member of many professional organizations. He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Lafayette College and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
