New President and acquisition of Daylor Consulting Group Points to an Exciting Future

In 2007, Rizzo Associates changed its name to Tetra Tech Rizzo, reflecting our affiliation with our parent company and pointing us toward an exciting future. Tetra Tech is now the 8th largest design firm in the United States and is recognized as a national and international leader in civil and environmental engineering services and scientific services. Tetra Tech Rizzo’s current staff of 240 is enhanced by the power and reach of a worldwide engineering firm with over 8,500 associates in 350 offices worldwide.

In 2007, one third of our business was devoted to work overseas. While expanding internationally, Tetra Tech Rizzo also enjoys a healthy mix of local and regional public and private projects. We honored Bill Rizzo in June as he officially retired from the company. Although Bill is spending time with family, growing the Engineering Center and tending to his garden, he continues to offer trusted advice from time to time.  

As we entered our twenty-fifth anniversary year in 2008, we welcomed the appointment of Brian Sullivan to President of Tetra Tech Rizzo. A founding member of the firm, Brian brings a strong commitment to grown the business and making Tetra Tech Rizzo a great place to work. In January 2008, we reaffirmed our commitment to growth improving the quality of life through innovative engineering and environmental solutions with the acquisition of Daylor Consulting Group.
