The 200-acre Rivers Edge technology-oriented business park along the Malden River will eventually consist of approximately 1.8 million square feet of building space. Tetra Tech Rizzo is responsible for the planning, engineering, and permitting efforts for this exciting regional redevelopment project. Tetra Tech Rizzo provided environmental permitting and Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) coordination for this project. Tetra Tech Rizzo is also helping to restore the Malden River bank, installing utilities for a new boathouse and the overall site, and removing a partially sunken barge in the river. We are doing earthwork related to the creation of wetland replication areas and helping on construction of the riverfront park.
