ConnDOT is a public agency whose objective is to provide a safe and efficient transportation system for those traveling in and through the State of Connecticut. As an on-call environmental consultant for ConnDOT, Tetra Tech Rizzo conducts site assessments, site investigations, compliance assistance and construction oversight at many of ConnDOT’s properties. The purpose of an on-call environmental consultant is to determine the presence or absence of contaminated conditions, analyze and interpret laboratory data, assist in claims investigation, assist in the interpretation of federal and state regulations, and assist with the maintenance of environmental compliance for operating risks on an as-needed basis.
