Client: Massachusetts Convention Center Authority

It’s Boston’s premier event and trade show destination, with nearly 600,000 square feet of exhibition space. With the redesign of roadways, utilities, and a stormwater system, the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center transformed 60 acres of Boston’s waterfront. Tetra Tech Rizzo supported this large-scale development from initial feasibility studies through design with integrated engineering, transportation, and environmental services. Each aspect of the project required an extensive public participation process, and close coordination with local and state agencies, private utility companies, and community groups including the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority and the South Boston Design Advisory Committee.
